The DLNA Test Tools and Golden Devices are now available through SpireSpark International. DLNA Membership is no longer required, and there is no longer a $10,000 membership fee.

The Golden DMP/DMR is now available for purchase. Companies can contact DCA to purchase their device.
The Golden DMP/DMR is a fully functional DMP and DMR device that supports all certifiable DLNA media format profiles. All Trickmodes operations and methods can be easily configured to test different use cases in your server and controller devices.

DLNA Test Tools
Former DLNA members who already have access to the CTT, MCVT and LPTT, and whose licenses have not expired, can continue to use their tools until their expiry.
The DLNA Test Tool versions to use for certification are:
CTT v2.0.4.4, MCVT v3.0.3.9 and LPTT v2.0.37
If your Test Tool keys have expired as your DLNA membership has expired, or if your company was not a former DLNA member, you can purchase the Test Tools by paying a Test Tool fee. There is no longer a $10,000 membership fee required.

The DLNA Test Tools are no longer available for download on the DLNA website. Please contact DCA if you require the Test Tools.
Golden Devices
The complete package of Golden Devices – Golden DMP/DMR, Golden DMS and Golden DMC – are now available for purchase.
The Golden Devices are the main devices used in DLNA Certification Interoperability testing at the Independent Certification Vendors (ICVs).
To purchase access to the Golden Devices, review the prices and packages. Please send an email to DCA requesting an invoice for the devices and packages that fit your needs.
DLNA Certification
Companies no longer need to pay a membership fee for DLNA certification. Any company can certify by sending their device to the DLNA ICVs.

The DLNA Certification Tests are the same as in the past and consist of the Test Tools, Interoperability and Small Network Tests.
Companies can download all DLNA documentation, including the DLNA Certification Test Plan, Certification Process document, from the Web Certification System (WCS).

Companies can access all the DLNA Certification Documents, including the Certification Test Plan, Certification Process, Tool Known Issue Lists, Test Bed Matrix and the Content File list by logging into their WCS account https://certification.dlna.org/documents.aspx

DLNA Test Bed Matrix
Companies can download the latest Test Bed Matrix v5_0_1 from WCS.
The old Test Bed matrix v4_1_1 can be used until June 16th 2017.
The Golden DMP/DMR will replace the Cyberlink DMP/DMR in Certification Testing.
SpireSpark QA Services
The DLNA Conformance Test Tool (CTT) and Media Capabilities Verification Tool (MCVT) tests can be automated to be run without manual intervention. Companies interested in setting up Automation can contact SpireSpark DCA for assistance.
